He wrestled for Pacific Northwest Wrestling (PNW) from 1987 to 1992, winning a total of four Pacific Northwest Heavyweight titles and eighteen Pacific Northwest Tag Team titles in teams with Scott Peterson, Jimmy Jack Funk, Crush, The Grappler, and Rex King.

Early in his career Kindred formed a team with Wolfie D, known as The Blacksheep, Flanagan also formed teams with Billy Travis, Nick Dinsmore, and Steven Dunn.
Perhaps Enos’ biggest claim to fame in WCW was being in the ring wrestling against Steve Doll on the May 27, 1996 episode of WCW Monday Nitro when Scott Hall made his WCW debut, planting the seeds for the New World Order.
