He has recorded for many independent labels including Matador, In the Red, Sympathy for the Record Industry, Hate Records (IT), Dead Canary, Revenant, Siltbreeze, and Columbus Discount Records.
In 1995, she teamed up with Motel Shootout and released the single Burn, on old friend Long Gone John's label, Sympathy for the Record Industry.
After hearing her cover Mary Wells's “Bye Bye Baby” with the Breakdowns, Long Gone John of the record label Sympathy For The Record Industry asked her to contribute to his Sympathetic Sounds of Detroit compilation and so Ko & The Knockouts were formed with Steve Nawara and Jeff Klein.
Some of these labels included Lookout! Records, Frank Kozik's Man's Ruin, Kill Rock Stars, Jade Tree, and most notably Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles Records and Long Gone John's Sympathy for the Record Industry, two labels whose most popular releases were by the Dead Kennedys and The White Stripes, respectively.
Small Feces includes basically all the exclusive songs from Turbonegro's many vinyl-only releases starting with their debut single Route Zero and the Turboloid EP on Straitjacket, the Vaya Con Satan single on Sympathy, continuing with several bonus tracks & b-sides from their records for Sympathy, Munster, Big Ball, Hit Me!
The following month, in April 1990, Sympathy for the Record Industry took three songs from the session and officially released them as Hole's debut single, "Retard Girl."
