Kiss qualified for the men's 400 m freestyle at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, by eclipsing a FINA B-standard entry time of 3:57.86 from the national championships in Székesfehérvár.

Katarina Ivanović

Katarina Ivanović, was born in Veszprém in Hungary to a middle-class family, and grew up in Székesfehérvár.

Werner Ostendorff

He succeeded temporary commander Karl Kreutz officially on 10 February 1945, and led the division until grievously wounded by an incendiary shell on 9 March 1945 in the vicinity of Székesfehérvár during fighting in Hungary.
