Tele2 started the operations in Russia by acquiring 12 regional mobile operators from its sister company Millicom in 2001.

The original Comvik operation is the predecessor to two listed companies: Tele2 and Millicom.
It's a live album with songs from the concert "Tele2 Go Live 2005", where also other Estonian artists performed: Genialistid, Cool D, DJ Critikal, Ines, Tanel Padar & the Sun, Toe Tag, Blacky, Smilers, Slobodan River.
Preceding his work at Ericsson, he has held management positions within the Swedish conglomerate Kinnevik, as both COO of Millicom SA and CEO of Tele2 Europe.
Tele2 was relatively late in adopting digital television, broadcasting analogue only until early 2006 (the other major distributors, Com Hem, SPA and Canal Digital, had been offering digital television for several years by then).
