While at Welling, and at Yeovil until the club turned professional, Skiverton appeared on Dream Team on the staff of Harchester United.
On 2 March 2010, Yeovil confirmed Stokes would join Hearts FC on loan after numerous reports he had a fall out with boss Terry Skiverton but again the deal fell through and he stayed at the club.
