In his youth, Hall admired Peter Doherty when he went to see Manchester City play at Maine Road and used the term "The Beautiful Game" to describe Doherty's style when playing.

Continuing on from the radical changes enforced by The Beautiful Game, AArt follows precedent with another varied mix of styles and genres, and even calls upon saxophonist Jeff Kashiwa, formerly of The Rippingtons, to share the lead on one track, "AArt Attack".
She still continues her association with Meryl Tankard and over the past few years has worked with her to remount productions all over the world as well as assisting her in London with the choreography of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical 'The Beautiful Game (1999).
