Michael Petroni

Petroni worked in the early 1990s as a comedy writer and performer on Australian television, and appeared as "Psycho Bob", an American serial killer character, in The Big Gig and DAAS Kapital (with the Doug Anthony All Stars).

They also attracted a loyal fan base in Australia thanks to touring in the early 90s, an appearance on The Big Gig and airplay on radio stations such as 3PBS and 3RRR where they were regularly played on magazine-style comedy show The Cheese Shop.

Mary Delahunty

In the late 1980s, Delahunty—then the chief newsreader for the ABC in Victoria—was parodied by comedian Jean Kittson on the popular TV comedy series The Big Gig, where Kittson portrayed a snobbish, acid-tongued announcer called Veronica Glenhuntly (whose surname was taken from that of the elite Melbourne suburb).

Patsy Biscoe

During the early 1990s, Biscoe was parodied by Adelaide comedian Glynn Nicholas who played Paté Biscuit on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation television comedy show, The Big Gig.
