Towards the end of the overture, the latter half of "The Day Begins" is played, making use of its excerpts from "Tuesday Afternoon" and "Nights in White Satin." The eighth track, "Drinking In the Day", begins with a reading of the poem "Clearing a Space", by the Irish poet Brendan Kennelly.
The day begins with a coach drive to Worcester in the afternoon, followed by Pimm's, strawberries and cream, and lots of socialising.
