On 16 March 2009 the single 'Bill Hicks' (based on famous comedian) was released on CD, vinyl and digital download, which reached number 6 on the official UK Indie charts according to the BBC website.
His other books include The Foxes Union, a recollection of his life in Rappahannock County, Virginia, in the Blue Ridge Mountains; Fine Print: Reflections on the Writing Art; and, A Political Bestiary, which he co-wrote with former U.S. Senator Eugene McCarthy and Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial cartoonist Jeff MacNelly.
His eventful spell at the Foxes was terminated after a five-game, four goal reserve record; a near breakthrough at Ewood Park when the final whistle frustrated Martin O'Neill's attempt to introduce him as a late substitute; and a training ground broken nose.
Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Tom Gordon also played for the Foxes, between the time he was drafted in 1986 and when he was called up to the majors in 1988.
He helped Gordon Milne's side to avoid relegation out of the top-flight by a single point in 1985–86, however the "Foxes" were relegated in 1986–87.
