Dance Craze

The film, shot in 1980, comprised performance footage of Madness, The Specials, The Selecter, The Bodysnatchers, The Beat and Bad Manners on tour throughout the United Kingdom.

Dave Barker

Barker has continued to record, including a live album featuring Barker playing with The Selecter.

Jake Burns

Since 2001, Burns has also been involved in a side project with Pauline Black of The Selecter, called 3 Men and Black.

The Selecter

The Selecter were featured in the 2 Tone film documentary and on the live compilation album, Dance Craze.

He later recorded another album, 'Future Swamp', with guests including Ronnie Wood and Reef members Dominic Greensmith and Jason Knight.

The Selecter's debut album,Too Much Pressure, was recorded at the end of 1979 and beginning of the new year, and was released in February 1980 by 2 Tone Records and Chrysalis Records.

Joining him on stage were guests from UB40, The Specials, The Selecter along with saxophonist Carlos Garnett.

The Siren Six!

Citing the Pixies, Elvis Costello, The Jam and The Selecter among their influences, The Siren Six!'s music stood in contrast to the then-popular ska punk sound, combining 2-Tone-style ska with heavy indie rock and Mod influences and a focus on introspective lyricism, a combination Kingpin Records marketed the band with as "2tone/mod/emoska".
