A Flock of Seagulls

In the 1998 movie The Wedding Singer, a ticket desk clerk with a Mike Score-like hair style asks Robbie Hart (Adam Sandler) if he is a Flock of Seagulls fan.

Palace Theatre, Manchester

Broadway musical The Wedding Singer had its UK premiere at the theatre in 2008 and in December 2008 to March 2009 the theatre hosted a season of the UK tour of Mary Poppins, one of only six theatres in the country to accommodate the tour, both events further cementing the theatre's reputation as the flagship venue of the North of England.

Terry Fox Secondary School

The school is noted for it's many musicals and plays including You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Footloose, Hair, The Wedding Singer and Jesus Christ Superstar,Tough, Daddy's Home, The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds, Of Mice and Men and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.


Frank Coraci

He has directed three of Sandler's hit films (The Wedding Singer, The Waterboy and Click) as well as several of Sandler's music videos.

Hawaiian Dick

The option was subsequently renewed in 2006, at which time director Frank Coraci (The Wedding Singer, The Waterboy, Click) was tabbed to direct the film, although no movement toward actual casting and production has been made.

Maree Cheatham

She has also appeared in movies, such as Beetlejuice (1988) (where she developed a cult following), Rumor Has It..., Mr. & Mrs. Smith, America's Sweethearts, and a notable cameo in The Wedding Singer, in which she innocently asked Billy Idol what the "mile high club" was.
