Rob DenBlyker, one of the creators of the webcomic Cyanide and Happiness, parodied the commercial in a 2013 installment where a father, after re-enacting the commercial, admits to his son that he himself is on drugs.

The original vinyl album contained a comic book about the band, featuring artwork parodying Picasso's Guernica (renamed "Gwarnica" here) and poking fun at the "this is your brain on drugs" commercials ("This is your brain on Gwar...").
He appeared in numerous films, guest starred on many TV shows, and was the principal actor in over 200 television commercials, many of them regarded the most popular in television history (ex: This is your brain, this is your brain on drugs..) He is also very well known in the boxing community, and was related to the decaf coffee inventor Ludwig Roselius.
