Bartholomew was early left an orphan, and was brought up under the care of Richard Tracy of Toddington, Gloucestershire.
Butt was the third son of the Rev. Phelpes John Butt, of Wortham Lodge, Bournemouth, and his wife Mary Eddy, daughter of Rev. John Eddy, Vicar of Toddington, Gloucestershire.
Hanbury-Tracy was born at Toddington, Gloucestershire, a younger son of Charles Hanbury-Tracy, 1st Baron Sudeley, by the Honourable Henrietta Susanna, only child and heiress of Henry Tracy, 8th Viscount Tracy.

The Toddington Town Band (or TTB as it is known colloquially) performs regularly at village events.

From Harlington station, you can travel north to Flitwick and Bedford, or south to Luton, Luton Airport Parkway, St Albans, St Pancras International, Gatwick Airport and Brighton.
Toddington Manor lies between New Town and Old Town, and was bought by the Turner Prize-winning artist Damien Hirst in 2005; he plans to turn the manor into a museum of his work.

The third creation came in the Peerage of the United Kingdom in 1838 when Charles Hanbury-Tracy was created Baron Sudeley, of Toddington in the County of Gloucester.
As well as Harlington village itself, the station also serves the villages of Barton-le-Clay, Toddington and Westoning.
The stretch between Toddington and Cheltenham Racecourse, including Winchcombe, has since been reconstructed and reopened as a heritage railway called the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway.
