Sagawa Express began operating one train as a reserved "Special high speed freight train" between Tokyo Freight Terminal and Ajikawaguchi Station (Osaka) on the 13 March 2004, schedule revision.
Its name literally means "Logistics Center" and comes from its location near various warehousing and forwarding facilities, including Tokyo's primary rail freight terminal, Tokyo Freight Terminal.
