Maighread Ní Dhomhnaill

Her father's family were native Irish-speakers from Ranafast, County Donegal and Maighread was therefore brought up speaking the language, along with her sister Tríona and brothers Éamonn, Mícheál and Conall.

Known for her work with the short-lived, but very highly regarded Skara Brae and her collaborations with sister Tríona Ní Dhomhnaill, as well as other traditional musicians.

Paddy Glackin

The original line-up included Irish music legends Matt Molloy, Dónal Lunny, Paddy Keenan, Tony MacMahon, Tríona Ní Dhomhnaill and Mícheál Ó Domhnaill.


Carlos Núñez Muñoz

He collaborated with Liam O'Flynn on The Piper's Call to perform Muiñeira de Poio / Muiñeira de Ourense. His most renowned album was 1996's A Irmandade Das Estrelas, which sold an unprecedented 100,000 copies, and included collaborations with Nightnoise, Luz Casal, Tino di Geraldo, Tríona Ní Dhomhnaill and Mícheál Ó Domhnaill, Kepa Junkera, Ry Cooder, The Chieftains, and Dulce Pontes.
