In keeping with the original ideals and dreams of its creator, Mike Robertson, Cornwall Flying Club operates as a non-profit organisation, to keep costs down to the end user.
Passed over by the armed forces, the rights to the design have since changed hands several times, the latest version being the FLS Sprint.

Also in the park is the OO gauge Trago Mills Model Railway which was built in 1988 over a period of 9 months by a team of 18 people led by Tony Irving, at a cost of over £100,000.
