The last international game was expected to be the All Blacks versus South Africa Tri Nations match on 12 July 2008.
McHugh hit the headlines in August 2002 when a drunk South African fan, Pieter Van Zyl, ran onto the pitch and assaulted him during the Tri Nations match between South Africa and New Zealand in Durban.
The game allows players to play as many Rugby nations, both major and minor, and includes many tournaments, such as the Rugby World Cup, the Tri Nations, the Six Nations, and the Super 12.
Dickinson has refereed in many rugby competitions, including the Rugby World Cup, Tri Nations, Six Nations, international friendlies, Super 12/14/15, and Shute Shield.
