All the plays have premièred in the Tring area, being produced by Frayed Knot Theatre Company.
The school was first based in premises at Stratford Place in London, but following the outbreak of World War II, the school was relocated to Tring in Hertfordshire, where it shared premises with the Rothschild Bank in the mansion at Tring Park.
It was discovered on James Cook's first voyage in 1769, on which the two specimens now in Liverpool and the one in the Walter Rothschild Zoological Museum in Tring appear to have been collected.

In 1998, they went to the now-defunct label Tring (primarily a budget-label of technically primitive, cheaply recorded classical music) with a Michael Nyman retrospective titled An Eye for a Difference, produced by David Roach.
The family link with milling in Gloucester goes back to 1860 (and before the inception of Priday Metford) because Director Francis Tring Pearce married Martha Allen, the daughter of Henry Allen and Mary Ann Charlotte Richardson (1845–1872) of Tewkesbury.

Joseph Reynolds and Henry Allen (both of whom became Mayors of Gloucester) took over the mill, passing on their business in 1875 to their sons, Vincent Reynolds and John Allen, in partnership with Francis Tring Pearce.

Tring National School was founded in 1842 by Church of England Revd Edward I. Randloph, with the assistance of a grant from the National Society, on land granted by the Dean and Chapter of Christ Church, Oxford.
After retiring as a winner of numerous Group One races, including eight British Classics, Swinburn began working as a licensed trainer in 2004 and operated Walter Swinburn Racing Stables based at Church Farm in Aldbury, Tring, Hertfordshire.
