Since receiving a Fulbright scholarship to work with Tristan Murail in Paris in 1991, Mr. Culpo has lived and worked in Europe.
Other pieces include his Désintégrations for 17 instruments and tape, Mémoire/Erosion for French horn and nine instruments Ethers for flute and ensemble, Winter Fragments, for flute, clarinet, piano, violin, cello and electronics as well as Vampyr! for electric guitar.

Halbreich's interest in modern music has led to articles on composers including contemporary music, particularly Spectral music: Horațiu Rădulescu, Iancu Dumitrescu, Ana-Maria Avram, Gérard Grisey and Tristan Murail.
In the United States and abroad, he has premiered and recorded works of many contemporary composers, including Charles Wuorinen, Milton Babbitt, Elliott Carter, Lasse Thoresen, Gerard Grisey, Jonathan Dawe, Tristan Murail, Ralph Shapey, Luigi Nono, Mario Davidovsky, and Wolfgang Rihm.
Gasser received a Bachelor's degree from California State University, Northridge (1988), where he studied composition with Aurelio de la Vega, and piano with Charles Fierro; this was followed by a two-year sojourn in Paris, where he studied privately with Betsy Jolas and at Fontainebleau with Jolas, Gilbert Amy, and Tristan Murail.
In 2001 - 2003 she completed the graduate program in composition and also piano at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover and in 2003 received a scholarship to participate in the master classes for contemporary and jazz music with Alvin Lucier, Tristan Murail, Christian Wolff, Frederic Rzewski and Roscoe Mitchell, among others.
She studied at the University of Quilmes, Municipal Conservatory of Music (Arg.) and at the annual course at The IRCAM with Tristan Murail (France, 1996/97).
Azevedo followed several seminars at IRCAM and other institutions, and worked in short periods with composers like Emmanuel Nunes (at the Gulbenkian Foundation), Tristan Murail, Phillipe Manoury, Luca Francesconi, Mary Finsterer, Jorge Peixinho, Louis Andriessen and Simon Bainbridge.
