After the establishment of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenians, in 1918, Bujanovac became part of Vranje Oblast, one of total 33, formed after the Vidovdan Constitution, in 1921.

After the 1925 elections, entry into the government was offered to the party by Nikola Pašić.
