2009 -Hemant Karkare Maharashtra ATS chief, and Vijay Salaskar Maharashtra Police Inspector, died during a battle with terrorists in 2008 Mumbai Terrorist Attack.
The bodies of the dead were promptly recovered and taken to St George Hospital.
