At this time Venkateshwarlu don lot of film promotion works for Pyramid Saimira Theatre Limited for leading films inclusive of Sivaji (film), Shankar Dada Zindabad, Saroja, Naan Kadavul, Mozhi, Avva, Yamadonga, Pokkiri, Azhagiya Tamil Magan, Villu, Kachche Dhaage etc.
Subsequently, she was asked to sing several songs for composer Devi Sri Prasad, including the chartbuster "Akalesthe Annam Pedtha" for the Chiranjeevi-starrer Shankardada Zindabad (later dubbed as Daddy Mummy in the Tamil film Villu), "36-24-36" for the film Jagadam, "Mia" for Tulasi, and "Ghanana (Funny)" and the title song for the film King.
The Anantha Sayanam version of the villu is consecrated to Lord Padmanabha (Vishnu); the one with the Dasavathram painting is offered to Lord Narasimha; the one showing the Krishna-leela is dedicated to Lord Krishna; the one with the painting of Shri Rama Pattabhishekam is consecrated to the idol of Shri Rama.
