In 1953 she was with Inge King, Julius Kane and Clifford Last and was founding member of the 'Group of Four' and in 1961 she joined the artists grouping 'Centre Five' (among others Inge King, Julius Kane, Clifford Last, Lenton Parr, Vincas Jomantas and Teisutis Zikaras ), who broke with the VSS and organised private exhibitions.
Vincas Mickevičius was born to a family of peasant farmers on October 19, 1882, in the village of Subartonys in Dzūkija ethnographic region of Lithuania.
On 5 July 2009, a statue of Vincas Kudirka was unveiled beside the Gediminas Avenue, the main street of the capital Vilnius.
Vincas Mykolaitis known by his pen name Putinas (literally Viburnum; January 6, 1893 in Pilotiškės – June 7, 1967 in Kačerginė) was Lithuanian poet and writer.
