Musically, he is mostly influenced by drummers Bobby Jarzombek, Vinnie Paul and Phil Collins and by bands like Necrophagist, Spastic Ink, Bottled Science and Megadeth defining his style as mixture between Thrash Metal, Progressive Metal, Death Metal and Progressive Rock.
At the close of the decade, Coe met Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell in Fort Worth, Texas, and the two musicians, struck by the similarity of the approaches between country and heavy metal, agreed to work together, and began production on the album, with Vinnie Paul and Rex Brown, which was recorded sporadically between 1999 and 2003, and released in 2006, two years after Dimebag Darrell's murder.
Rock N Roll Experience was the first publication in the world to cover & publish photos from the first Hellyeah concert which was Vinnie Paul's first concert onstage prior to the death of Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell.
Their debut album, Heaven Is Gone, was released in April 2009 in North America on Vinnie Paul's record label, Big Vin Records, and in November 2010 in Europe and the UK on Napalm Records.
