From April 1996 to his joining the company as Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ornstein served as President and Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Virgin Express, a European airline.
Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Lotz served as Chief Operating Officer of Virgin Express, a position he held from October 1996 to June 1998.
He then became the CEO of Brussels Airlines, resulting of the merger between SN Brussels Airlines and Virgin Express.
Virgin Express started on 23 April 1996, when the Virgin Group (with chairman Richard Branson) bought the Belgian leisure airline EBA (EuroBelgian Airlines) and rebranded it into Virgin Express.
