He designed the Colegio Huelquen Montessori, the Casa para una Escultora (House for a Sculptor), Casa en el lago Pirehueico (House en the side of Pirehueico, the new offices of St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, art workshops on the Vitra campus at Weil am Rhein, Villa en Ordos Inner Mongolia (Villa in Ordos Inner Mongolia) and projects for the Elemental initiative.
She works both nationally and internationally in the cultural and commercial sectors; her clients include the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, Wiel Arets, Chanel, Paul Fentener van Vlissingen, Inside Outside, Museum Boijmans, Zumtobel, Ferrari, Vitra, NAi Publishers, and Camper.
Recent firms and designers involved in the highly lucrative and competitive business include Porsche, Vitra, Sir Norman Foster, and Alberto Meda.
Citterio graduated in architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and since 1972 has worked for many leading manufacturers such as Ansorg, B&B Italia, Flexform, Flos, Iittala, Hansgrohe, Inda, Sanitec Group, Kartell, Arclinea and Vitra.
Funding from UBS ceased in 2000 but the label has since received sponsorship from VITRA / ROLF FEHLBAUM for an ongoing series of projects and from the DANZAS GROUP.
