Dotson's first job in broadcasting was as Director of Special Projects at WKY-TV in Oklahoma City between 1969 and 1975.
In the late 1940s he was offered a slot on Oklahoma City radio station WKY under the name Chuck Wyman.
Dunaway occupied the afternoon drive slot at every radio station he worked at during his 35 year career, including radio KILT-AM Houston, KLIF-AM Dallas, WKY Oklahoma City, WABC (AM) New York City and WIXY Cleveland.
Mildren served as the Vice-Chairman for the Arvest Bank Group, and as an announcer for Jox 930 WKY - Oklahoma's oldest radio station - which is an all-sports radio station in Oklahoma City.
The group performed locally, made some recordings, and did frequent radio broadcasts over Oklahoma City's WKY.
