Christoph Niemann (born 1970 in Waiblingen, West Germany) is an illustrator, graphic designer, and (co-)author of several books including some children's books.
It is also the location for the letter processing center for the Stuttgart region of the Deutsche Post.
The Rems Railway was electrified, starting from Stuttgart, to Waiblingen in 1949, to Schorndorf in 1962, to Aalen in 1971 and in 1972 on the Ries Railway from Aalen to Nördlingen and Donauwörth.
With the electrification of the line from Goldshöfe via Crailsheim to Ansbach in 1985, the Murr line also lost all of its long-distance services, which now ran via the longer Rems line via Aalen.
