Nordgren debuted for Wigan against Warrington on 3 April 1946 and went onto play in nine matches that season.

Curtis Jobling

He is also a fan of the rugby team Warrington Wolves (nickname Wire) and has been seen singing "Wire Till I Die" in the stands of a stadium.

Dally Messenger

Messenger also rejected an offer to play with English club, Warrington, during the Australian off-season that year.

Iafeta Paleaaesina

He was one of the best players for Wigan in the 2006 Super League season despite damaging his calf muscle in a game against the Warrington Wolves.

Israel Folau

In 2008, after Melbourne and New South Wales representative Matt King announced he would be leaving the Storm to play with the Warrington Wolves in the European Super League, Folau filled the void as the starting centre for Melbourne.

James Stosic

Since then, he has played in 4 Super League matches for the Wildcats, before injuring his leg during the Wildcats victory over Warrington Wolves in round 4.

Station Road, Swinton

2008 Bradford Bulls season

The Bulls announce their 2nd capture of the season, Warrington Wolves prop Ben Evans on a 1 Year loan deal, he is the twin brother of Wolves centre Rhys Evans.

Henry Fa'afili

Fa'afili signed for Warrington Wolves in 2004 and whilst at Warrington he scored many tries from high cross field kicks from Lee Briers.

Ian Knott

He came through the ranks at the Mayfield and Wigan St Jude's amateur clubs and was acquired by Warrington Wolves as a youngster along with Paul Sculthorpe and Iestyn Harris.

Paul Sculthorpe

Educated at Counthill School, he started his professional career with Warrington Wolves as a 20 year-old, and shortly after that made his debut for England.

Rebecca Atkinson

Atkinson grew up on Weaste Lane in Salford and went to All Souls primary school on Kintyre Avenue, which was also the primary school of Warrington Wolves prop Adrian Morley.

The team consisted of six players from league leaders Wigan Warriors, three from league runners-up Warrington Wolves, two from Catalans Dragons and one each from St Helens RLFC and Super League XVI winners Leeds Rhinos.
