Arthur Teele

After his honorable discharge from the US Army, Teele provided pro bono services to the defendants in the Wilmington Ten which was the most prominent civil rights case in America during the 1970s.

1978's Wilmington 10—USA 10,000 examined the impact of racism and the short-comings of the criminal justice system by examining the history of the nine black men and one white woman who became known as the "Wilmington Ten."


Warren H. Coolidge

As U.S. Attorney, Coolidge oversaw the prosecution of Ben Chavis and other members of the Wilmington Ten, and was involved in the early stages of the Jeffrey MacDonald murder investigation.
