The show opened at the 44th Street Theatre on May 3, 1927, then transferred to the Winter Garden Theatre on October 10, 1927 and closed on November 12, 1927.
An English version, The Circus Princess, premiered in at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City on 25 April 1927 starring Guy Roberston and Desiree Tabor.
During her stay in America Revalles appeared in two Broadway productions, Miss 1917, a musical revue that had a fair run at the Century Theatre before the theatre fell into bankruptcy, and the Shubert Brothers’ 1919 hit musical extravaganza Monte Cristo, Jr., playing the multiple roles of Yvonne, Haydee and Diamonda, over its near year long run at the Winter Garden Theatre.
Following the 1932 death of Florenz Ziegfeld, the Shuberts acquired the rights to the name and format of his famed Ziegfeld Follies, and they presented the 1934 and 1936 editions of the Follies featuring performers such as Fanny Brice, Bob Hope, Josephine Baker, Gypsy Rose Lee, Eve Arden, The Nicholas Brothers, and Buddy Ebsen.

Edwin Booth bought an interest in the Winter Garden Theatre at 667 Broadway in New York City together with his brother-in-law John Sleeper Clarke.
There was no music video for the song, although the Unison home video contains a live performance of it, recorded at the Winter Garden Theatre in Toronto, Canada.
In 1941 they appeared in George Black’s London Palladium production of Gangway with Bebe Daniels and Ben Lyon, and Tommy Trinder, and in 1943 starred in a revival of Friml’s Vagabond King on a country-wide tour which culminated in a season at the Winter Garden Theatre, London.
He performed the song live with Margo Timmins at the release at The Winter Garden Theatre in Toronto On Nov 22a and 23, 2013.
The Drawer Boy premiered in Toronto at Theatre Passe Muraille in 1999, and was subsequently produced by Ed Mirvish Productions at the more opulent Winter Garden Theatre in Toronto and the Manitoba Theatre Centre, Winnipeg in 2001.
