Brunnera macrophylla (Siberian bugloss, heartleaf) is a species of flowering plant in the family Boraginaceae, native to the Caucasus.
The common names are tower of jewels, red bugloss, Tenerife bugloss or Mount Teide bugloss.
The caterpillar feeds on borage Borago officinalis (known as Fidloqqom in Maltese), and on bugloss (plants from the genus Echium e.g. Pale Bugloss Echium italicum which is known as Lsien il-Fart Abjad in Maltese).
