The Rebbe also established the Radziner Yeshiva Sod Y'sharim in Jerusalem, the Radziner Yeshiva Ateres Shlomo in Bnei Brak, the Radziner Yeshiva Tiferes Yosef in Bnei Brak, with many Kollelim located in Jerusalem, Bnei Brak, and Haifa.
After he married Henya, he began to study in the Pri Yitzchok Kollel.
Other examples of successful community kollelim include kollelim in Dallas; St. Louis, Missouri; Atlanta; Seattle; Pittsburgh; and Phoenix, Arizona.
In the original meaning it was for the resque of the Yishuv ha-Yashan of Eretz Yisrael, the funds were distributed by the Kollelim in form of chalukah.

In 1987 Rapoport and his wife joined the community Kollel in Melbourne, Australia, where, in addition to his post graduate studies, he officiated and lectured in several communities, including the far flung Launceston in Tasmania.
Many of the Yeshivot Hesder also support a Kollel and offer a Semicha ("rabbinic ordination") program, usually in preparation for the "Semicha of the Rabbanut"; many Hesder graduates also obtain semicha from Rabbi Zalman Nechemia Goldberg.

In the summer 2008, he joined Roshei Yeshiva, Rabbi Hershel Schachter and Rabbi Mayer Twersky at the NCSY Kollel in Israel.
