Catherine Crook de Camp, (November 6, 1907, New York City – April 9, 2000, Plano, Texas) was an American science fiction and fantasy author and editor.
Many of his fantasy images found their way onto book covers of well known science fiction authors including Robert Silverberg, Vernor Vinge, Steven Baxter, Iain Banks, Dan Simmons, Greg Bear, John Barnes and Peter F. Hamilton and writers of the Mind-Body-Spirit genre.
Many writers who went on to publish novels for Black Library, such as C.L. Werner and Ben Counter, began their professional writing careers with short stories in Inferno! The magazine also published stories by established science fiction authors such as Barrington J. Bayley and Brian Stableford.
As editor and later publisher at Askild & Kärnekull, Lindfors, Bokförlaget Bra Böcker/Wiken and later with his own publishing house Replik he has introduced many current authors into Sweden, including several science fiction authors.
