They released several singles under their own name (including French-language versions of such as The Turtles' "Elenore" and The Supremes' "Come See About Me"), but spent most of the 1970s working as backing singers, both on stage and in the studio, for François and other big names.

Ernest Goes to Camp

The song used to detach the box turtle from Ernest's nose is "Happy Together," a song which was written and recorded by the musical group The Turtles.

Prima Vera had a number of hits, including such classics as Så lykkelig i Sverige ('So happy in Sweden', a version of The Turtles' So happy together) Det er Norge som er bra and De gærne har det godt.
