In 2006, the line-up included Greenwich Village folk veteran Michael Hurley, members of the post-hardcore band Lungfish, Vetiver, & the debut of Northern California folk singer Mariee Sioux, who BBML also took on national & European tour as main support.
According to the draft ecological plan, floral species such as Indian almond, black wattle, sacred fig, madras thorn, Indian mulberry, neem, banyan, magizham, Indian cork tree, punnai, sirukkambil, karumugai, shenbagam, bayur tree, kadamba, pavazha malli, vetiver grass, palmorasa, agave, lemon grass and subabul would be part of species along the nature trail which would play a role in erosion management.
Get Closer, Released in November 2009 and produced by the renowned Thom Monahan (Devendra Banhart, Vetiver, Silver Jews, Dinosaur Jr, Jayhawks), features Alon backed by the band Tree with a sound ranging from alternative rock to psychedelic guitars and Americana.
At home in the UK she also featured in the Zero Degrees of Separation tour, becoming an integral part of the band which also features Adem, Juana Molina, Vetiver and Bunyan.
She has worked with many well-regarded artists; to name a few – Grizzly Bear, CocoRosie, Brightblack Morning Light, Vetiver, Patrick Wolf, Vashti Bunyan, Tim Fite and Devendra Banhart.
The band has since shared the stage with notable national and international acts like The Appleseed Cast, The Morning Benders, Neon Trees, Film School, Vetiver, Pela, Figurines, The Pack A.D., Starlight Mints, Dappled Cities, Polysics, Loquat, and LoveLikeFire.
