'69 Newport

'69 Newport is a 7" vinyl EP record by the influential ska-core band Operation Ivy. The 7" was composed of "Hedgecore" and "Left Behind", both of which were recorded at 924 Gilman Street in 1987.

Kick Over the Traces

The Japanese edition features a second disc recorded live at 924 Gilman Street on February 10, 2008, and features different cover art.


Hiimwaterdragon

As a teenager, his uncle Pete Pontikoff (vocalist of Benümb) introduced him to the metal/punk scene at Gilman, among other music scenes and gave him the opportunity to do production jobs for his projects signed with Relapse Records.

It features interviews with Insaints guitarist Daniel DeLeon, and Bay Area musicians Tim Armstrong of Rancid, Dexter Holland of The Offspring, Texas Terri Laird, and other assorted Gilman Street veterans as well as photos and footage of the band in action.

During Stikky's active years it was common for them, Crimpshrine, Isocracy, Operation Ivy, Corrupted Morals, Sweet Baby Jesus, or The Lookouts to open a bill for a touring punk band almost every weekend at 924 Gilman Street.
