Aberdeen railway station, the current main station in the city of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK
The last of the A4 class in common use, it was withdrawn for scrapping on 5 September 1966 from Aberdeen Ferryhill shed (61B).
In the late 19th century there was considerable competition between the companies on the West Coast lines and those on the East Coast to provide the fastest overnight journey from London (Euston or King's Cross) to Aberdeen.
Located on Guild Street and Market Street, the development adjoins onto the side of Aberdeen railway station and new bus station creating a transport hub.
