The African Parks Network is founded in 2000 as a not-for-profit organisation by a group of experienced conservationists (Mavuso Msimang, Dr Anthony Hall-Martin, Michael Eustace, Peter Fearnhead and late Paul Fentener van Vlissingen), who were concerned about the decline of many of Africa’s national parks.
