Delta Co. returned from February to September 2004 and Alpha Co. from September 2004 to March 2005 and then Charlie Co. returned from March to October 2005 to patrol in the southwestern portion of Al Anbar Province.
The group would deploy for year-long tours to support Multi-National Forces West in Al Anbar Governorate, alternating with 1st Marine Logistics Group.
Adnan died after Nebuchadnezzar II returned to Babylon, after that his son Ma'ad moved away to the region of Central-Western Hijaz after the destruction of the Qedarite kingdom near Mesopotamia, and the remaining Qedarite Arabs there were displaced from their lands and forced to live in Al-Anbar province and the on the banks of the Euphratesriver under the rule of the Neo-Babylonian Empire.
During this deployment,they provided Route Clarence Patrols, food, water, ammunition and fuel to forward operating bases throughout the Al Anbar Governorate, a vast desert province west of Baghdad.
In July 2007, Marines from Fox Battery 2nd Battalion 14 Marine Regiment were deployed to the Al Anbar province of Iraq.

Operation Dagger took place in the southern Lake Tharthar region, in Al Anbar province and was conducted by the Regimental Combat Team-8, 2nd Marine Division.
