Neill Sanders

Neill was a personal friend of Benjamin Britten and played principal horn for the Aldeburgh Festival, taking part in the première and first recordings of the Church Parables Curlew River, The Burning Fiery Furnace and The Prodigal Son.

Fairhaven Singers

The choir performs mainly in Cambridge but has also appeared several times at Snape Maltings Concert Hall, Suffolk, including concerts at the Aldeburgh Festival and Britten's War Requiem at the Britten Festival; at major venues in London, including St Martin-in-the-Fields and St John's Smith Square; and at various concert venues in Europe.

Reinbert de Leeuw

He was in 1992 guest artistic director of the Aldeburgh Festival and from 1994–1998 artistic director of Tanglewood Festival of Contemporary Music.

Eric Crozier

He directed his wife, Nancy Evans, in the role of Lucretia in the 1946 premiere of Britten's opera The Rape of Lucretia at Glyndebourne, and later succeeded Peter Pears as director of the Aldeburgh Festival.

Francisco Coll García

Current projects include a new piece commissioned by Los Angeles Philharmonic to be premiere at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in 2011, and an octet for members of the BBC Symphony Orchestra for broadcast on BBC Radio 3, and an other commission from the 2011 Aldeburgh Festival for the Barbirolli Quartet which will subsequently tour to the Verbier Festival, Switzerland.

The Io Passion

The Io Passion premiered at the Snape Maltings as part of the Aldeburgh Festival on 11 June 2004 in a production directed by Stephen Langridge.
