Alfred Whitehead

Leo Sowerby, a leading American cathedral organist-composer, described Whitehead's Benedicite, based on the Gregorian Tonus peregrinus, as the "best Benedicite" he knew.

In 1912, he emigrated to Canada, and in 1913 was the first person to earn the Fellowship of the Royal Canadian College of Organists (RCCO).


It Is the Business of the Future to Be Dangerous

The title track "It Is the Business of the Future to Be Dangerous" is a quote from the mathematician/philosopher Alfred Whitehead, which had originally been used on the sleeve notes to the Space Ritual album.
