Armando Iannucci (b. 1963), a Scottish comedian, writer, director, performer and radio producer
He has appeared on BBC Radio 2, The Comic Side of 7 Days on BBC Three, and has written for 8 out of 10 Cats, The Late Edition (BBC Four), The Now Show (BBC Radio 4), Armando Iannucci's Charm Offensive (BBC Radio 4) and took his second solo show Hypocrite to the Edinburgh Festival in 2007.
At the BBC, he started as a producer in News and Current Affairs, then moved to produce youth programmes at Radio Scotland (in Glasgow), and Radio 5 in Manchester where he created programmes such as Hit The North which first united Mark and Lard aka Mark Radcliffe and Marc Riley and Bite the Wax presented by the then unknown Armando Iannucci.
