Balls Head Bay is a bay located to the east of the Waverton Peninsula and the west of Berry Island, on the north of Sydney Harbour.

She is currently berthed at the old coal loader wharf in Balls Head Bay, Waverton, Sydney.
As of 2014 the surviving State Dockyard built ships are the MV Cape Don, a lighthouse tender built in 1962 for the Commonwealth Lighthouse Service which is now a museum ship at Balls Head Bay, Waverton.
