Balls Head Bay is a bay located to the east of the Waverton Peninsula and the west of Berry Island, on the north of Sydney Harbour.
Berrys Bay is a bay located to the west of the Waverton Peninsula and the east of McMahons Point, on the north of Sydney Harbour.
Other nearby villages which are of interest include Kelsick, Lessonhall, Waverbridge and Waverton, which are all less than a mile away from the centre of Dundraw.
She is currently berthed at the old coal loader wharf in Balls Head Bay, Waverton, Sydney.
As of 2014 the surviving State Dockyard built ships are the MV Cape Don, a lighthouse tender built in 1962 for the Commonwealth Lighthouse Service which is now a museum ship at Balls Head Bay, Waverton.
