The incident occurred when a high-school student of East Lake High School in Tarpon Springs, Florida, Charles J. Bishop, inspired by the September 11 attacks, stole a Cessna 172 and crashed it into the side of the Bank of America Tower in downtown Tampa, Florida.
Recent projects, notably the Bank of America Tower and Henry Miller’s Theatre (renamed the Stephen Sondheim Theatre), focus on creating a healthy workplace.
In addition to designing the Bank of America Tower, the firm has won awards for the Henry Miller's Theatre, a neighborhood development in the South Street Seaport, a visitors’ center at the Angkor Hospital for Children in Cambodia, and 401 West 14th Street in the Gansevoort Market Historic District.
Previously based in Florida, she was also mentioned in a 2007 issue of Orlando Arts Magazine and her art has been displayed in Orlando's Gallery at Avalon Island, Orlando Museum of Art, the Jetsetter Lounge and the Bank of America tower in Downtown Orlando.
