Fossils of Coroniceras bucklandi are commonly found at Lyme Regis, Dorset Coast, England in the higher limestones of the Blue Lias.

Originally constructed of blue Lias, a Jurassic stone with layers of fossilised shells, it was sourced from Aberthaw.
The tower, probably from the 15th century with 19th-century restoration, is built of red Mendip stone which contrasts with the local blue lias limestone of the rest of the church.
