He studied art at the University of Texas at Austin with a focus on installation and sculpture, as well as in 2001 at the Salzburg International Summer Academy of Fine Art, under the instructors Ilya Kabakov & Emilia Kabakov and the theorist/critic Boris Groys.

During the past three years, the journal published 36 issues containing more than 250 essays by writers such as Hito Steyerl, Martha Rosler, Liam Gillick, Boris Groys, Franco Berardi (Bifo), Jalal Toufic, Slavoj Žižek, Diedrich Diedrichsen, Raqs Media Collective and numerous other contributors.
It consist of interviews with contemporary artists, critics, and collectors such as Olafur Eliasson, Harald Falckenberg, Damien Hirst, Hans-Ulrich Obrist, Marina Abramović, Olaf Breuning, Terence Koh, Genesis P-Orridge, Boris Groys, and Tobias Rehberger.
