Quine also toured in support of the album and can be seen on the recorded Bottom Line show titled A Night with Lou Reed.
They played continuously around the US and in many New York clubs, including Trude Heller's and The World, and in many Greenwich Village clubs such as The Bottom Line and The Downtown.
The nine tracks from the promotional LP were recorded on July 21, 1978 at the New York's Bottom Line.

During the following years, the Rats performed at venues such as Madison Square Garden, The Philadelphia Spectrum, The Nassau Coliseum, The Hammersmith Odeon in England, and New York’s Central Park, as well as showcase rooms such as The Bottom Line (Manhattan), My Father’s Place (Roslyn, New York), Whiskey a Go Go (Los Angeles) and The Paradise Room (Boston).
In the US, they played at the 1971 Philadelphia Folk Festival, and performed at the Gerde's Folk City, and with Bonnie Raitt in Tuft's College, Boston; they were also the first band to open at the Bottom Line nightclub in New York.
