Brian Henson

As he got older, he built the very first Muppet penguin puppet for the opening "Lullaby of Broadway" segment of a season three episode of The Muppet Show, guest starring Gilda Radner.

Captain Alexander Smollett

In the 1996 Disney film Muppet Treasure Island, this character was renamed Captain Abraham Smollett (Kermit the Frog) by Brian Henson and the scriptwriters, in which he is rewritten as easy-going and fair in deference to Kermit's amiable character.


Jane Henson

Their first child, Lisa, was born the next year, followed by four others: Cheryl (born 1961), Brian (born 1962), John (born 1965) and Heather (born 1970).
